The Tesco LGBTQ+ Network is one of the largest colleague networks in the UK, bringing together thousands of colleagues who care about creating a truly inclusive place to work. Its mission is simple: to build a culture where Everyone’s Welcome, where we treat people how they want to be treated, and where every colleague feels seen, supported and able to thrive.
The network provides a strong sense of community, offering space to give and receive support where it matters most. It also plays a key role in shaping the business — influencing policies, products and decisions that impact LGBTQ+ colleagues and customers, and helping us better represent the diverse communities we serve.
In 2025, Tesco partnered with Horlock House to strengthen our presence at Pride events across the UK. Their support helped us bring our values to life on the ground — giving more colleagues the chance to take part in local Prides, increasing visibility in the communities we serve, and showcasing our commitment to inclusion in a way that feels real and meaningful. With Horlock House partnering with us on planning, communications and coordination with Pride organisations, the partnership delivered standout results:
• Participation increased from 23 Pride events in 2024 to 37 in 2025
• Contributed to more than a 40% increase in colleagues marching in 2025 vs 2024
Together, the network, our colleagues, and partners like Horlock House are helping us embed inclusion into everything we do — proving that when we show up, support each other and live our values, every little help really does make a big difference.
